Talent Analytics are gaining in importance for talent management (TM) as well as human resources management (HRM). They provide the opportunity to make empirically substantiated decisions in talent-oriented matters. HRM can thereby influence organizational strategy and can prove as well as enhance the function’s contribution to the organization’s commercial success. Talent Analytics provide companies with the means to make TM processes more efficient and effective. At the same time, a number of methodological, ethical and privacy issues loom. The acquisition and expansion of the required psychological, business administrative and analytical competencies constitute another challenge for companies.
