For medium skilled workers, it is not easy to find a new job—even in industries where workers are scares. Finding appropriate positions, writing an application and waiting for the employer to reply takes time and is a laborious process. For employers, on the other side, it is not easy to find workers at all. The job market for truck drivers is an example where it is not easy for employers and employees to find each
other. Here, a digital platform (a so called two-sided marketplace) tries to bring together employees and employers in 10 minutes. Truck drives are going to a website where they have to answer three groups of questions: 1. What kind of job are you looking for? 2. What is your qualification? 3. What kind of person are you? Employers are also registering themselves at the digital platform and answer the complementary
questions so both sides can immediately get into contact after they had been matched by an algorithm. In this article the development process of the platform and an outlook to further developments are described.
